Pre and post-treatment
instructions

  • No sun exposure that changes your baseline color within 4-6 weeks of your procedure.

    No chemical peels, or other deep exfoliation procedures with 4 weeks of treatment.

    Stop the use of Retin A, Retinols, Glycolic, Salicylic, Alpha hydroxy acids 5-7 days prior to procedure.

    Please inform us if you taking any prescription medicine or OTC medication.

  • FOR 24 HOURS AFTER YOUR TREATMENT…

    Try not to wash the skin within 12 hours after the treatment . Use a cotton with gentle toner to wipe off after shower or need extra cleanser.


    Only apply the repair cream if needed.

    Swelling or redness is common and expected in certain ares like eyes or chins. You can use of a cold compress or ice packs to relieve the swelling(also avoid ice burn).

    Avoid direct heat and sweat, including steam rooms, saunas, and exercising.

    Continue to avoid any products that make you feel tingly or redness.

    FOR AT LEAST THREE DAYS AFTER YOUR TREATMENT…

    When the warm and heat is gone, start use cell protect balm or Aquaphor for the dry and patch areas.
    If the skin is peeling, please don’t scrabble or exfoliate the face. Apply frequently with the Balm or Aquaphor on the areas and let it peel naturally.

    Avoid topical irritants — these potentially include harsh soaps, medicated washes, scrubs, oils, retinols, scented lotions and peels.

    Avoid hot baths / showers, as well as swimming (in any temperature). When bathing, use cool water and gentle soap; pat skin dry with a clean, soft towel.

    Avoid scrubbing, scratching or shaving.

    You can use healing ointment like , Aquaphor® or Vaseline® , up to three times daily or as needed to help reduce peeling, irritation or itching.

    FOR UP TO TWO WEEKS AFTER YOUR TREATMENT…

    Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds.

    Recommend hydration facials in 2 weeks to enhance the results.

    Apply sunscreen SPF 30+ daily, and wear barrier protection such as wide-brimmed hats, large sunglasses and breathable protective clothing when outdoors.
